The 21st February marks a significant day in the history of
NewUrbanMale.com. Media (
VNexpress, TTVH & Do Magazine...etc) in Vietnam were invited to attend a press conference for the opening of
NewUrbanMale.com's first international store in Vietnam. Questions were answered and the media was given a sneak peek into what they can expect for the fashion show. To show our appreciation, a pair of
Braziliano Praia flip flops was given to all the journalists who attended the press conference.
"Pulsating heartbeats, beads of perspiration and bronzed taut bodies.... these are what to expect for the evening"The heat in Vietnam seemed to have increased significantly when the models arrived for the fashion show rehearsal in FashionTV Bar located in Ton That Thiep, Ho Chi Minh City. As the minutes passed by, the queue at the entrance was overwhelming that even the security at the doors admitted to have never seen such a queue before at any event. When the doors opened, the crowd swarm into FashionTV and waited in anticipation for the show to start. Apart from special guest appearances by popular Vietnamese artistes - Cindy, Wanbi and Ocean,
NewUrbanMale.com's mascot, the Rainbow Bear, also created much hype among the party-goers.
When the show started, the models, including 3
NUM Ambassadors, walked down the runway with such charisma and style that the crowd simply went hysterical. Showcasing several signature looks from
NewUrbanMale.com, the highlight of the night was when two models appeared as 'angels' with wings attached on their backs. The crowd was awestruck and even after the show ended, many stayed behind to request for pictures with our models.
It was an eventful night and admist the heat and lost-in-translation moments, the party was clearly a success.

The long-awaited TUKYTUKY event by NewUrbanMale.com was held @ Cathay Cineleisure last week. Supporters had their Havaianas and Braziliano Praia flip flops decorated with free TUKYTUKY, and if that wasn't enough, they also had the chance to participate in a lucky draw.
