Finally 235guys is up again for good.. but haven seen much entries after that. So let me start the ball rolling and hope more entries to come then after.. its me again complaining about exams and school (what else). Exam is coming next week, everyone in school is mugging like no tomorrow.. library ever crowded.. u'll see the same faces at the same seats.. wonder how can they sit there whole day to study, something that i just cannot imagine. At least i believe on quality over quantity. But sometimes there are rather funny sights in the library that kept me entertained. One guy digging his nose thinking that nobody's looking... but too bad i did ~ haha
Some was too tired i guess that they have to drool on their notes.. *salute*. Some gers wore like they have came directly from ZOuk's Mombo yesterday.. wonder their bag has notes or just simply make-up.. Oh yes and no forgetting the Yang Guo and Xiao Long Nu.. happily studying at the corner hand holding.. chatting and laugh it off, then they will go everywhere together.. always in a pair.. Ni Nong Wo Nong. Hmm, that all i can see for now..wonder wad will i see later in the day
gotta get back to my books again.. gd luck have fun & god bless.

235guys Blogspot Down

We received tremendous emails telling us 235guys blogspot was down.

Some say the site got hacked, others think we decided to close the blog down and asked us to get it back ...

The truth is the traffic was too high the day we announced the blog address on NUM newsletter that, the site "went off".

We brought it back ... this time ... we promise more 235guys joining us.

What the eyes dont see !

Have been working too hard the last 2 weeks.

Now that NUM Citylink is running smoothly, I took a night off to watch a movie.

Wanted to watch Cinderella Man at first. Jason told me, after watching the show, he feels very motivated to work harder and I could see the movie somehow influenced and affected him a bit. I told him, not just work hard, work smart too.

I ended up watching Be With Me, because I did not want to wait for 1 hour for Cinderella Man.

I am reminded again ... sometimes we should learn not to see with our own eyes, and learn to feel ... for what the eyes can see, sometimes deceive us, what we dont see and hear, sometimes, we feel the most.

I'm going to do something tomorrow, I'm going to call someone out for a cup of coffee and get him back to NUM.

See, what a movie can do to us?

Asian Men Are Dependent on Wives

I was browsing through the net looking for my favourite Japanese comics, and came across this article.

Wondering if more people, especially Singaporean girls get to read about this, will they "raise their price tags" ?

But then again, don't you think in any relationship, people gets dependent to a certain extent with a different degree of emotional dependent too?

We heard so much of course, women could endure pain more than men, so they probably take crisis better than us too ... so guys, know this, the daily gym routine can only build our body, we need to build our emotional strength too. :)

Read below:

Not too long a go, Japan was shocked when well-known critic Eto June committed suicide after his wife's death. His wife had died in November last year. June's death was reported in Korea, and many similar sentiments were aroused among men. An interesting study from Japan explains that losing a life partner is the absolute stress in men, and widowers suffer more from the loss than widows.

According to Mr. Matujiwa, director of Matujiwa Mental Health Research Center (Kyodo), Asian men and women react differently to the death of their spouses. After the death of a spouse, women will be in the state of manic sadness, unable to do anything. But after certain period of time, they will get over the situation and get on with their lives. Widowers will be able to control themselves, but later on depression will strike, and they will be disabled by the stress of being alone, and by nostalgia for their wives.

According to Matujiwa's report, this period of loneliness takes men to extreme stress, can lead to depression and create internal health problems, which sometimes lead to death.

"Asian men see their mother through their wives," said Majujiwa, "and Asian men are more emotionally dependent on their wives." His advice to men who are going through extreme stress due to loss of their wives?

"Getting a pet is an excellent idea," he said. "By providing love, care and responsibility, one can overcome the stress and find comfort in life."

Early morning mugging !

Yes its mi waking up in the wee hours of the morning to study for my Life Science exams today... i can never understand the notes and worse, the lecture. Mayb its because i have never had any biology background all my life ! Those DNA, RNA, Prokaryotic, Eukaryotic (blah blah blah).. nv fail to 'motivate' me to study them. But on the positive note, i always tell myself there ppl out there who are worse than mi.. mayb they totally dunno and totally heck the subject ( at least i bother to try to study for it) and just pretend to look like they know everything in the lect, which is wad i call Mr. / Miss KIA (Know It All). Well, i think its a very pretentious world in the Uni where people always say they did not do this or that, dunno this or that.. but actually they all secretly study at home. Worse, some even go back to sch still telling ppl they did nt study but actually they did ! Hai, its a dog eat dog world even in sch, as the saying goes ' survival of the fittest'. Mayb u dunno wad i am talking about but for those who share the same sentiments as mi will agree.. Damn, i took too much time off frm my mugging.. better get back to bks. Oh anyway thanks for hearing mi rant.. wish mi luck for the Bio battle later. And will b working tdy after sch, so at least i can take my mind off sch for the day.. Cheers !

(Truely) Blind Crooners and the wrong bitches

Just on my way back from choir pratice and over heard some girls gossiping about their guys (I presume, I know it's rude to eavesdrop, but they are TALKING SOOO LOUDLY :P) on the train.

Anyway, they were like comparing these guys they know with our new visually impaired superstar, how their voices were like his, but less nasal, or how expressive they were and how moving their voices are just like our superstars (only better :P , as usual) and yadda yadda yadda. AND commmented at least that they were NOT BLIND cos they made the right choice of girls. ( AND I SINCERELY BEG TO DIFFER)

Great, and bysome mocking coincidence some auntie was flipping through the evening chinese newspapers with headlines about our superstar's 5 main criteria for his choice of a female companion.....

And the girls just shreaked out "XXXXXXXX......." Loosely translated into a bitchy sarcastic undertone about someome who should take a better look at himsell in the mirror (I mean duh, if only HE COULD????) They should be looking into the mirrors themselves first huh? (that is if the mirrors dun crack first.....)

Hey, shouldn't every guy be entitled to their own choice of girls? So what if he can't see, does that make him any less human or in having any rights in their own preference?

I'm quite sure their guys are the true blind crooners cos they must have been serenading the wrong women.

Thank god my bitch at home doesn't bark as much. Even so, I kinda hope she would be able to make it to my concert coming Wednesday nite at the University Cultural Centre. At least she would be totally delighted ,as always, wagging her tail and prancing around on her hind legs (with the occassional loss of bladder control, but hey, aren't all bitches like dat ??)

I doubt me bitch knows who's Barry Manilow or Andre Bocelli, let alone understand the language either, hee :} But alas, I still love me bitch, eh :)

But hey, I'm quite sure pets are not allowed in campus.

Though I'm quite sure there are PLENTY around :P

Danial's Departure Party:

The last day Danial was with us, we threw him a small party.

We had him a cake, took some cheeky photos and sabotaged him the very last time. He is going to be a policeman .... can't make fun of him after that anymore.

Its already a week since he left us.
You know how much you've made a difference is a person's life?

It can be measured by how much people miss you when you leave them.

I have to admit. I miss this great friend.
And I know he will be good and be back when he needs me still one day.
I pulled him aside that day, told him this.

"Always remember, I will be there still when you need any help."

Before everybody forgets about him, I put up some photos here. So we will not forget him.
